Chris Preston
Having spent most of his life growing up in Spring, Chris has witnessed firsthand the growth which has occurred in the surrounding area and the ever-changing landscape it has produced. As a licensed agent, real estate investor and homeowner in this community, Chris diligently keeps a close eye on the local housing market and understands the complexity of buying and selling in this setting. He also recognizes it is more than simply a piece of property with a price tag. It is the home where your children once colored all over the freshly painted walls or the place where you plan to settle down and start a family or perhaps it is your forever home you are seeking. Whatever the case may be Chris believes each of his clients deserve a pleasant experience and he is eager to build a relationship that will continue for years to come.
Chris has a rather diverse background that has equipped him with the skills and talents necessary for exceeding his client’s expectations. He began his career in the U.S. Navy, spending the first 11 years on active duty and later transitioning into the Navy Reserves where he is currently assigned to the U.S. Central Command. His previous assignments have included the White House Communications Agency, SEAL Team 17, and P-3 air squadrons. With nearly 20 years of service the military has taught him the value of hard work, discipline, patriotism and integrity. He is forever grateful for having the opportunity to serve and attributes his time in the military for shaping him into the person he is today.
His technical knowledge, knack for arithmetic and meticulous attention to detail have also led him to a position as a systems engineer where he has over a decade of experience designing two-way radio communication systems for the commercial business sector. As the senior engineer, his customers have included multiple Fortune 100 companies with projects valuing over $20 million. He has a Master of Business degree and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.
Chris has no concept of putting anything less than 100% into everything he does yet he manages to do so with an impressively calm demeanor and positive attitude. His drive for real estate is matched by his devotion to personal growth and happiness which provides him with a healthy work/life balance. He loves all things outdoors and is lucky enough to share his experiences with his wife Alicia. His interests include traveling both abroad as well as locally, competing in the Ironman races, attending church, and telling one too many dad jokes.
